Will Friebel

Will Friebel is a software engineer at Uber, bringing a passion for web-based technologies to their role. Previously, Will taught computer science and mathematics at Palo Alto High School from 2013 to 2018, where they created a full stack web development course and led innovative instructional programs. Will also served as the director of TEDx PaloAltoHighSchool and contributed to the PAUSD K-12 Computer Science Curriculum Design Advisory Committee. Prior to this, they taught mathematics at Orchard School District from 2012 to 2013. Will is currently pursuing a Master’s Degree in Secondary Education and Teaching at the University of California, Santa Barbara, and holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Philosophy from Whitman College.
