Yangmin Zhu has extensive experience in software engineering, beginning at Google from January 2016 to March 2018, where responsibilities included working on the serving backends using C++ and Java for Google Maps and successfully migrating the serving flow to enhance client-side rendering. Additionally, Yangmin contributed to the open-source project Istio, with a focus on security aspects such as identity, authentication, authorization, and vulnerabilities. Currently, Yangmin serves as a Staff Engineer at Uber, specializing in platform security since May 2022.
