Yi Hua

Yi Hua is an Applied Scientist with a diverse background in data science and research. They began their career with research assistant roles at Tsinghua University, the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign, and Johns Hopkins School of Medicine, where they contributed to projects involving statistical inference and ecosystem analysis using R. Yi Hua then gained industry experience at Walmart and AbbVie before serving as a Data Scientist II at Microsoft from 2019 to 2022. Currently, they work as a Senior Applied Scientist at Uber, and they hold a PhD from the University of Illinois at Chicago.
