Yushi Tan

Yushi Tan is currently a Senior Applied Scientist at Uber, focusing on Eats logistics and batching. They previously served as an Applied Scientist II at Uber and conducted research as a Research Associate at the University of Washington. Yushi earned a Ph.D. in Electrical Engineering and a Master’s in Statistics from the University of Washington, where they also worked as a Graduate Research Assistant. Their experience includes internships at the Electric Power Research Institute and Argonne National Lab, with a strong emphasis on improving power system resilience and developing algorithms for energy optimization.
