Uber

Andres Echandi is a Costa Rican technologist currently serving as the Head of LatAm Central Operations at Uber, where they focus on ensuring access and opportunities for Latin Americans. With a background in entrepreneurship and a proven track record in healthcare and fintech, they co-founded Criocel Stem Cell Blood Bank and held various leadership roles at Uber and Jeeves. Andres has also contributed to the growth of Lab Echandi and served as a microbiologist at one of Costa Rica's largest public healthcare hospitals. They earned an MBA from Stanford University and hold a Licentiate in Microbiology and Clinical Chemistry from Universidad de Costa Rica.
