Barış Korkut

Barış Korkut has been working in the tech industry since 2006. Barış started as a Software Engineer at Simsoft Bilgisayar Teknolojileri LTD. STI., where they were responsible for project management, military software development, and military software testing using C#. Barış also worked on game design and development, focusing on serious games, using the Torque Game Engine and MS Silverlight. In 2011, they joined Aselsan as an Expert Software Engineer. In 2014, they moved to Ericsson as a Senior Computer Engineer. Currently, they are a Lead Software Architect at UberCloud.

Barış Korkut obtained a BS in Computer Science from Bilkent University between 2001 and 2006. Barış then went on to obtain a Master in Modeling and Simulation from Orta Doğu Teknik Üniversitesi / Middle East Technical University between 2007 and 2010. In August 2019, they obtained an Oracle Certified Associate, Java SE 8 Programmer certification from Oracle.
