David Appleyard is a Principal Systems Integration Engineer at Ubicept, where they are advancing state-of-the-art imaging systems and algorithms. Previously, they served as a Principal Biosystems Engineer at Genus IntelliGen Technologies from 2018 to 2023, and held an interim role as Director of Engineering at Genus PLC in 2017. David has extensive experience in engineering and research roles, including positions at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology and Vanderbilt University. They also contribute as an Adjunct Faculty member at the University of Wisconsin-Madison, teaching and mentoring students in Biomedical Engineering Design.
