Boya Shi has a diverse work experience spanning from 2011 to 2020. In 2011, they were a Quality Assurance Co-op for Perstorp Polyols Inc. As Investment Manager, they developed the company's strategy to expand business beyond oil and gas sector and performed research, compiled expert inputs, and wrote market reports on oil and gas industry, as well as renewable energy to guide project investments. Boya Shi received a Bachelor's Degree in Chemical Engineering from The University of Toledo and a Master's Degree in Chemical Engineering from Carnegie Mellon University.
