Ivan Chen

Ivan Chen has extensive experience in research and development (R&D) management, with a focus on hardware and RF technologies. Ivan currently works as an R&D Manager at Ubiik Inc. since 2023, where they lead the HW R&D team and focuses on low-power WAN technologies such as LPWAN, LTE-M, NB-IOT, and LTE CAT-1. Ivan'sresponsibilities include LPWAN module design for Advanced Metering Infrastructure (AMI).

Prior to their current position, Ivan worked as an R&D Manager at CytoAurora from 2015 to 2023. Ivan was responsible for medical instrument hardware R&D, including biomedical chip design, automatic control circuit design, and optical system integration. Ivan also collaborated with hospital clinicians on IRB clinical research and handled patent drafting and application. Additionally, they worked cross-functionally and communicated with end users, project managers, and sales teams regarding marketing development.

From 2005 to 2015, Ivan served as an R&D Manager at Azurewave Technology. Here, they led the hardware and RF R&D team, focusing on wireless communications technologies such as WiFi, BT, GPS, UWB, and LTE. Ivan'sresponsibilities included RF SiP module design, manufacture, packaging, and testing.

Furthermore, Ivan has prior experience as an RF Engineer at Win Semiconductors Corp. from 2003 to 2005. In this role, they were in charge of testing III-V GaAs HBT PA, PHEMT switch, and SAW filter. Ivan also handled semiconductor fabrication failure analysis and customer device failure analysis.

Ivan Chen is a PHD candidate in the Department of Electrical Engineering at National Chung Cheng University. Prior to that, they obtained a Master's degree in the Department of Electronic Engineering from Chung Yuan Christian University, where they also completed their Bachelor of Science (B.S.) in the same field.
