Eqbal Alam

Eqbal Alam has over 25 years of work experience in various technical and managerial roles. Eqbal currently serves as the Chief Technical Officer at UBIQCOM since February 2023. Before that, from November 2020, they worked as the Presales & Technical Manager at Netro Networks Private Limited. Prior to that, they were a Senior Manager at Ravi & Singh Communication since November 2017. From February 2011 to the present, Eqbal has been a Deputy Manager (I.T & Admin) at L.S Industries Ltd, where they are responsible for ERP implementation and support, as well as overseeing the development and maintenance of the IT strategic plan.

Between November 2007 and January 2011, Eqbal served as a Senior System Administrator (IT & Admin) at Esys Information Technologies Pvt Ltd, where they handled the installation, configuration, and administration of Microsoft AD Server and IBM Lotus Note Mail server. Eqbal was also involved in designing LAN and WAN networks for over 100 users. Eqbal's work experience also includes serving as a System Administrator at Sahara Computers & Electronics Ltd from January 2005 to November 2007, managing the overall network, Microsoft Windows 2003 Server, MS Exchange 2003 mail server, and Tally 9 server.

Additionally, Eqbal worked as a Network Support Engineer at BPL telecommunication (P) Ltd from December 2001 to January 2005, where they managed about 50 users on the network and provided technical support to field engineers. Eqbal also served as a Services Engineer at Addon Infosys (P) Ltd from August 1998 to December 2001, offering technical support to AMC clients and handling PC and rack server assembling and testing.

Throughout their career, Eqbal has gained expertise in a wide range of technical areas, including network management, server administration, and software implementation.

Eqbal Alam completed an E-MBA degree in Information Technology from the Northern Institute of Management & Technology Delhi, from 2007 to 2009. Eqbal also holds a Diploma in Hardware Engineering. In addition, Eqbal has obtained certifications such as MCP (Microsoft Certified Professional), MCSA (Microsoft Certified System Administrator on Messaging Server), and MCSA (Microsoft Certified System Administrator on Windows Server 2003). Moreover, they have completed several certifications, including HCIA, IP Network Pre-Sales Specialist, IP Network Sales Specialist, and Customized GPON Operation & Maintenance Training, from institutions such as Huawei and Huawei India Enterprise.
