Derek Maxwell

Derek Maxwell is an experienced professional with a background in engineering and management, currently serving as the Failure Analysis and Refurbishment Manager at Ubiquiti Networks since March 2019. Prior to this role, Derek worked as a Project Engineer at RelChip, focusing on high temperature ASIC design and ISO-9001 documentation from October 2016 to March 2019. Derek's experience also includes positions as an Automotive Product Engineer at NVIDIA, where hardware escalations and root cause analysis were managed, and as a Senior Analysis Engineer at Fusion-io, specializing in root cause analysis and customer support. Earlier in the career, Derek served as an FPGA Engineer at Visionary Products and ViaSat, and as a Fire Controlman in the US Navy. Educational qualifications include a BSEE in Electrical Engineering and Mathematics from the University of San Diego.
