Operations Manager at Ubiquiti

Jared Wayne has a diverse work experience spanning various industries and roles. Jared started their career as a student and Maneuver Captain Career Course participant at Man in 2010. From 2011 to 2013, they served as an Observer Coach Trainer and Squadron S4 (Logistics Officer) in the United States Army. In 2013, they became a Company Commander for an armor (tank) company in the 1st Armored Brigade Combat Team, 4ID, where they managed maintenance and combat readiness. In 2014, they commanded a 175-soldier infantry company and prepared it for combat. Jared then commanded the U.S. Army's first-ever Stryker Weapons Troop from 2015 to 2016. In 2016, they worked as a Doctrine Developer and Writer for the Stryker Brigade Combat Teams. From 2017 to 2020, they served as a Senior Manager, Logistics Operations at GE Appliances, a Haier company. In 2017, they also became a Squadron Operations Officer for the 2nd Squadron - 104th Cavalry Regiment, 56th Stryker Brigade Combat Team. In 2020, they transitioned to become an Operations Manager at Ubiquiti Inc. Most recently, from 2021 to 2022, they worked as an Operations Officer for the 1st Squadron - 108th Cavalry Regiment, 48th Infantry Brigade Combat Team, 3rd Infantry Division, Georgia Army National Guard. In this role, they were responsible for training planning and execution, tactical operations planning, and providing tactical information to commanding officers.

Jared Wayne completed their high school education at Sidwell Friends School from 1998 to 2002. Jared then pursued their Bachelor's Degree in Political Science and Government at the United States Military Academy at West Point, where they studied from 2002 to 2006.

In addition to their academic qualifications, Jared has obtained several certifications from the US Army. In July 2005, they received the Air Assault certification. Jared further enhanced their skills by completing the Infantry Mortar Leader Course in August 2011. In July 2011, Jared earned the Parachutist certification, demonstrating their expertise in parachuting. Lastly, in June 2012, they obtained the Jumpmaster certification, which signifies their proficiency in leading parachute operations.
