Kevin Chin

Engine Programmer

Kevin Chin is an experienced engine programmer currently employed at Ubisoft since August 2025, working on the game For Honor. Prior to this role, Kevin served as a software developer at Unity from February 2023 to July 2025, focusing on scene tooling within the Unity Editor, runtime, and ecosystems. Kevin has also contributed to academia as an undergraduate teaching assistant for CPSC 314 - Computer Graphics at The University of British Columbia between January 2022 and April 2022. Earlier in Kevin's career, a position as a gameplay programmer was held at Offworld, where work was done on Starship Troopers: Extermination from May 2020 to December 2020. Kevin holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Computer Science from The University of British Columbia, obtained in 2022, as well as an International Baccalaureate Diploma earned between 2016 and 2018.
