Martin Bedard is a seasoned technology director at Ubisoft, where responsibilities include defining major innovations and driving the technological vision for AAA open world games since July 2005. With a diverse background, Martin has previously served as a lead AI and gameplay programmer and a programmer, contributing to the vision and execution of gameplay systems. Martin also held a position as an advisory committee member for the Montreal International Games Summit from January 2012 to November 2015, aiding in event organization and conference selection. Prior experience includes leading software development for the Power Knee prosthesis at Victhom Human Bionics and developing real-time embedded software for energy automation devices at Cybectec. Martin holds a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Engineering from Université de Sherbrooke and a management diploma from HEC Montréal.
