Jim Spice has worked in the IT industry since 1991. Jim began their career as a Repair Technician at Laser Computer in 1991. In 1992, they moved to GE Capital as a Technical Support Specialist and Helpdesk. In 1995, they joined Comdisco as a Technical Support Engineer and Technical Supervisor. Finally, in 2007, they joined UbiStor, Inc. as a Senior Application Support Engineer for Enterprise Data Protection, Email Archiving, and Virtualization.
Jim Spice has an Associate of Applied Science in Electronics Engineering Technology from McHenry County College. Jim has also obtained various certifications, including a Scale Computing Technical Training Certification in February 2022, a Datto Certified Advanced Technician (DCAT) and a Datto Certified Deployment Specialist (DCDS) in July 2021, an Acronis Service Provider Support Certification - Cyber Disaster Recovery Cloud and an Acronis Service Provider Support Certification - Cyber Protect Cloud in December 2020, a Certified Services Associate 2018 Delta Test - CVCSA18 DELTA and a Commvault Certified Professional V11-2018 in December 2018, an Acronis Certified Engineer in August 2018, and a Commvault Core Enablement for Support - MSP in January 2018.
