Thanassis Giannetsos

Thanassis Giannetsos is the Head of the Secure Systems & Trusted Computing section at UBITECH, overseeing research on secure, privacy-preserving computing protocols. Currently, they serve as an Adjunct Associate Professor in Cyber Security at the Technical University of Denmark. Thanassis earned a PhD in Computer Science and Electrical Engineering from Aalborg University and a Master's degree in Information Networking from Carnegie Mellon University. They have held positions including Assistant Professor at the University of Surrey and Senior Researcher at KTH Royal Institute of Technology, contributing significantly to research in security and privacy in networked systems. Their work includes a focus on various aspects of theoretical computer science and has resulted in numerous publications and involvement in international security standardization.
