Mayur Patel

Mayur Patel is an accomplished chief commercial officer at M-KOPA, Africa's largest connected financing platform, and brings extensive experience in fintech and digital media. They previously held the position of group chief operating officer at Cassava Fintech and served as the CEO of Kwesé iflix, where they developed innovative mobile streaming solutions. Mayur is also actively engaged in various advisory roles, including chairing the advisory board at Infinite Foods and serving as a board member for Ubongo. Educated at the University of Oxford, where they earned both a Doctorate and a Master’s in International Development, Mayur is currently pursuing a BSc in International Relations at the London School of Economics. In recognition of their leadership, Mayur has been named a 2020 World Economic Forum Young Global Leader and an Archbishop Desmond Tutu Leadership Fellow.
