Alberto Basso is currently the Associate Director at UBS, having previously served as a Quantitative Analyst and model developer within the Trading Risk Team. Prior to joining UBS, Alberto worked as a Quantitative Analyst at Citi, focusing on trading book risk modeling, and engaged as a Quant Modeller at Prometeia, developing advanced IRB models for a major Italian bank. Alberto holds a Master of Arts in Financial Engineering from Collegio Carlo Alberto and has a strong educational background with degrees in Physics and Theoretical and Mathematical Physics from the Università degli Studi di Torino. Additionally, since January 2023, Alberto has been a member of the Steering Committee of the UBS Young Professional Network Switzerland.
