Amar Vora

Amar Vora, FRM, has extensive experience in financial services, with a focus on risk management and trading strategies. Beginning as an Assistant Manager at Ariston Capital Services Pvt Ltd from January 2008 to July 2011, Amar traded in global fixed income and commodity markets while developing quantitative models for investment opportunities. Following this, Amar served as an Assistant Manager in the Risk Management Department at Clearing Corporation of India Ltd, where responsibilities included system testing for interest rate swaps and operational risk management. Subsequently, Amar worked as a Senior Market Risk Analyst at Barclays Investment Bank from September 2013 to July 2016, focusing on Value-at-Risk (VaR) reporting for Emerging Market desks. From July 2016 to January 2021, Amar held the position of Assistant Vice President at Credit Suisse in the APAC Trading Risk office, managing risk across fixed income and equities. Currently, Amar serves as a Director at UBS. Academic credentials include a B.Com from Mithibai College, an MBA in Finance from Atharva Institute of Management Studies, and a CFA in Finance from ICFAI University.
