Andrew Matthews

Andrew Matthews is a seasoned professional in the precious metals sector, currently serving as the Global Head of Precious Metals Distribution at UBS since 2025. Prior to this role, Andrew held significant positions at HSBC Global Banking and Markets as Director and EMEA Head of Precious Metals Sales from 2008 to 2019, and at Societe Generale Corporate and Investment Banking in energy and precious metals sales from 2007 to 2008. Andrew began their career at Bloomberg LP, focusing on Bloomberg Terminal sales from 2004 to 2007. They hold a Bachelor's Degree in Chemical Engineering from The University of Manchester and a Master's in Management and Finance with Distinction from Loughborough University.
