Birgit Nitschmann is currently a Managing Director and Head of GWM COO Business Risk at UBS, a position they have held since 2018. They previously worked at Credit Suisse from 2014 to 2017, where they held various roles including Global Treasury COO & Business Management and Project Manager for the Recovery and Resolution Office in Switzerland. Birgit is also a member of the Boardroom since 2025. They earned a Bachelor of Science in Information Engineering from the University of Konstanz between 1999 and 2001.
