Carson Tong

Carson Tong, CFA, serves as the Head of Portfolio Management at UBS Canada since 2024, bringing extensive experience in portfolio management and investment strategies. Prior to this role, Carson held the position of Senior Portfolio Manager at the Investment Management Corporation of Ontario (IMCO) from 2022 to 2024, focusing on private idiosyncratic strategies with an absolute return profile across various sectors including mining and healthcare. From 2014 to 2022, Carson was Vice President and Portfolio Manager at CI Investments Inc., specializing in leveraged finance and credit, with significant investments in high yield bonds and leveraged loans.
