Eric Cope

Eric Cope is an accomplished executive currently serving as the Executive Director at UBS, where they lead Non-Financial Risk Quantitative Solutions. Prior to this role, Eric held the position of Director at Credit Suisse, focusing on quantitative modeling of operational risk, and served as a Quantitative Finance Manager at Bank of America Merrill Lynch. Eric began their academic career as an Assistant Professor at The University of British Columbia, where they also directed the Centre for Operations Excellence. They earned multiple degrees from Stanford University, including a Ph.D. in Management Science and Engineering, as well as master's degrees in Engineering-Economic Systems and Operations Research, and Statistics.
