Gerd Lierhaus

Gerd Lierhaus has extensive experience in IT audit and software development, spanning over three decades. Initially, Gerd held project management and ownership roles at proXima Software & Systeme GmbH and Ruihr Valley Software GmbH. Gerd transitioned to IT audit roles at Dresdner Bank AG and later at KPMG, where responsibilities included information risk management and operational planning for IT audit teams. Gerd served as a Senior IT Auditor at UBS, managing IT process audits and collaborating on governance reporting. Currently, Gerd is a university lecturer at HSLU Hochschule Luzern, focusing on Third Party Risk Management in the Certified Advanced Studies program for IT Audit & Assurance. Gerd holds a Diplom in Informatik from Universität Dortmund and a CISA certification from ISACA.
