Howard Gan

Howard Gan possesses a diverse background in both military and finance sectors. As a Detachment Commander in the Singapore Armed Forces from August 2015 to March 2016, Howard led a team in training and operational duties while ensuring equipment functionality through coordination with civilian and military entities. In the role of Operations Team Lead, Howard contributed to the management of the Opening & Closing Ceremonies of the 28th South East Asian Games, organizing creative meetings and consolidating updates. In the finance industry, Howard held positions at UBS, including Director for EUR/GBP Rates Vol Trading, as well as roles as Associate Director and Analyst. During the summer of 2018, Howard completed a Sales & Trading Summer Analyst program, rotating through FX, Rates & Credit sectors. Academic qualifications include a First Class Honours Bachelor of Arts in Chemical Engineering from the University of Cambridge and an International Baccalaureate diploma from SJI International with a score of 43/45.
