James Thompson is currently the Head of Global Consultants for EMEA and APAC at UBS Asset Management, where they lead strategic partnerships and collaborate with investment teams to deliver tailored solutions for advisory clients. Since joining UBS in 2022, James transitioned from an investment specialist focused on sustainable multi-asset solutions. Previously, they served as a Senior Investment Consultant at Defaqto, managing a consulting team and representing the firm within the UK financial services sector. Prior to that, James worked as a Senior Portfolio Analyst at Jupiter Asset Management and held roles at Pictet Asset Management and Schroders. James holds a BA Hons in Business Administration with Law from Oxford Brookes University and is a Chartered Alternative Investment Analyst (CAIA) as well as an Investment Management Certificate (IMC).
