Jim Axelson

Jim Axelson, CFP®, CEPA®, is the Managing Director of Wealth Management at UBS Financial Services, Inc., where they have over 30 years of experience assisting families with their financial futures. They earned a Bachelor of Applied Science in Accounting from California Polytechnic State University, San Luis Obispo, and began their career as a Sr. Accountant at KPMG. Prior to their current role, Jim worked as a Financial Advisor at Merrill Lynch for 23 years. Jim focuses on portfolio management, estate planning, and liability management strategies while also being actively involved in children's charities, particularly supporting the Pediatric Cancer Research Foundation in Orange County. Residing in Dana Point, Jim enjoys fitness and family time when not in the office.
