John Hu

John Hu is the Executive Director and Head of Accounting Policy Americas at UBS, where they lead the accounting policy team to provide IFRS and US GAAP opinions on significant transactions. Prior to this role, John served as Director and Head of Accounting Policy Americas at Credit Suisse from 2004 to 2023, focusing on various technical accounting areas such as consolidation and revenue recognition. They began their career at KPMG LLP, where they worked as a Manager in the Financial Services Practice from 1998 to 2004. John holds a Master of Business Administration (M.B.A.) in Accounting from Baruch College, which they completed in 1998.
