Luis Javier Echave

Luis Javier Echave is currently the Desk Head HNWI - Iberia International at UBS Wealth Management. They previously served in various high-level positions, including Chief Operating Officer and Chief Risk Officer at Optimal Investment Services (Banco Santander) from 2010 to 2013, and Global Head of Asset Management & Investment Advisory at Crèdit Andorrà from 2017 to 2018. Earlier in their career, they held roles such as Vice President at Santander Private Banking (Miami) and Senior Vice President at Santander Investment Securities in New York. Echave is pursuing a BA in Law and a BSc in Business Administration and Economic Science at Universidad Pontificia Comillas, having obtained a Master in Finance from CUNEF in 2001.
