Luz Colon

Luz Colon, Esq. is a compliance attorney and securities professional with over 20 years of experience in supervision, compliance, risk management, and regulatory matters. Luz began their career at UBS Financial Services, Inc. of PR as a Branch Control Officer and later served as an Associate Division Control Officer from 2000 to 2003. Luz advanced within UBS, holding various roles including Chief Compliance Officer for UBS Fund Advisor from 2019 to 2023 and Chief Compliance Officer for UBS Asset Managers of PR & UBS PR Funds in 2013. Luz earned a Juris Doctor from Inter American University School of Law and a Bachelor's Degree in Accounting from Universidad de Puerto Rico, as well as completing the FINRA Certified Regulatory and Compliance Professional Program at The Wharton School.
