Malte Schwaner

Malte Schwaner is currently the Head of Group M&A and Equity Investments at UBS. They have an extensive background in the financial sector, having served as Managing Director and Head of FIG DACH & CEE at Barclays from 2011 to 2017, and holding various director positions at Lehman Brothers and Nomura focused on financial institutions. Malte began their career as an analyst in the Financial Institutions Group at UBS and later worked as an associate at Deutsche Bank. They earned a Master of Science in Business Administration and Management from Università Bocconi, following their graduation with an Abitur from Bischof-Neumann-Schule.
