Marcel Fligge

Marcel Fligge is currently the Managing Director in UBS Group Model Risk Management, a position they have held since 2017. Prior to this role, they served as Managing Director at Credit Suisse, where they were the Head of PB Credit Analytics and Global Head of AIRB Modeling from 2010 to 2017. Marcel's career at UBS began as a Senior Credit Risk Analyst from 2001 to 2005, and they later became the Executive Director for Head Credit Risk Validation from 2005 to 2009. Their academic background includes a Dr.sc.nat. in Astrophysics and Solarphysics and an MSc in Physics, both from Eidgenössische Technische Hochschule Zürich, completed between 1990 and 1999. Marcel began their career as a Research Scientist at ETH Zurich from 1999 to 2001.
