Marco Borer is an accomplished professional with extensive experience in digital assets and financial industry innovations, currently serving in various capacities at UBS since October 2006. As an Executive Director, Marco supervises IT for Global Corporates & Institutional Clients and has played key roles in major IT initiatives. Previously, Marco has led transformational projects in wealth management and digitalization at UBS, as well as served as a Senior Consultant at EPS AG and in leadership roles at PostFinance. Marco holds advanced degrees in Wealth Management and Finance from the University of Rochester and University of Bern, complemented by a Master's in Economics and Computer Science from the University of Zurich. Additionally, Marco contributed to future-oriented insights at The Foresight Academy from 2019 to 2021 and helped establish a networking partner ecosystem for IBM between 1994 and 1997.
