Michael Nero

Michael Nero is an experienced finance professional with a robust background in rates and credit management. Currently serving as a Director at UBS since September 2019, Michael specializes in US Rates and Emerging Markets Finance. Prior to this role, Michael held the position of Vice President at Nomura from January 2015 to July 2019, focusing on Rates Control. Michael also served as a Controller for HY & IG Credit and Alternative Assets at RBC Capital Markets from October 2009 to December 2014, and held various positions including Vice President at Societe Generale and Assistant Vice President at Deutsche Bank from 2003 to 2009. Michael's career began at GlobeOp Financial Services as a Controller from 2001 to 2003. Michael is an alumnus of Providence College.
