Michael Rieser

Michael Rieser is currently the Program Director at UBS Optimus Foundation, specializing in impact investing in emerging and frontier markets, particularly in health, education, and nature-based solutions. They have previously held roles as a Program Manager at UBS, focusing on mobilizing investment capital for high-impact ventures, and as an Associate in Agribusiness at the Clinton Giustra Enterprise Partnership, where they successfully secured $2.5 million in seed funding. Michael's early experiences include internships and research roles related to economics and social impact, including work with non-profit organizations supporting indigenous communities. They hold a Master’s degree in Economics from the Barcelona Graduate School of Economics and a Bachelor’s degree from Universität Basel.
