Michael Schmutz

Michael Schmutz has extensive experience in finance and controlling, holding key positions across various sectors. They began their career at Ascom, where they served in diverse roles including Head Finance & Controlling for Energy Systems in Brazil and CFO for Energy Systems Slovakia. Subsequently, Michael worked at Swiss Re from 2009 to 2013 as a Senior Controller and later as a Regional Controller. Currently, they are a Finance Manager at UBS, responsible for fund accounting and regulatory reporting, having previously held the same position at Credit Suisse since 2019. Michael earned an MBA from IE Business School and participated in an international exchange program at UCLA Anderson School of Management.
