Paul Oates

Paul Oates is currently the Head of Rating Advisory at UBS, leading a team that specializes in Financial Institutions Group (FIG) and covers various workflows across Debt Capital Markets, Leveraged Finance, and M&A. Previously, Paul served as Vice President in the Credit Advisory Group at Morgan Stanley and was a Senior Credit Officer at Moody's Investors Service. Paul began their career as a Rating Specialist at Standard & Poor's and has achieved notable academic credentials, including a Distinction in both a Level 5 Leadership Diploma and a Level 5 Diploma in Business Administration from the Chartered Management Institute, as well as a BScEcon in Banking and Finance from Cardiff University.
