Peter Simon

Peter Simon currently serves as the Executive Director and Head of Group Legal Integration Advisory CH & EMEA at UBS, where responsibilities include acting as the main legal counsel for the Switzerland and EMEA regions and overseeing complex legal entity and business integration transactions. Prior to joining UBS in July 2023, Peter was a Director at Credit Suisse, leading the Corporate Development Legal and Competition Law teams, where significant achievements included co-leading the legal team during the acquisition of Credit Suisse by UBS. Peter’s earlier experience includes serving as Principal Associate in the Corporate/M&A department at Freshfields Bruckhaus Deringer, specializing in private equity clients and cross-border M&A transactions. Peter holds a degree in Law and Business Economics from the University of Bayreuth and has completed the Qualified Lawyers Transfer Scheme at Kaplan.
