Richard Lara

Richard Lara, CAIA, has extensive experience in real estate investment and debt origination, with a career spanning from a Summer Investment Analyst position at PGIM in 2013 to various roles at UBS from 2014 to 2018 and then from 2022 to 2024. At UBS, Richard served as Originations Executive Director, overseeing the sourcing, structuring, and negotiation of real estate debt investments across multiple U.S. regions for a $2.6 billion open-ended debt fund. Richard's previous positions included roles as Acquisitions Analyst, Acquisitions Associate, and Acquisitions Associate Director, culminating in expertise in evaluating diverse property types and investment structures. Richard holds a Bachelor's Degree from the University of California, Berkeley, and furthered education at Victor Valley College.
