Sameer Verma is a seasoned technology executive with over 20 years of experience in investment and asset management. Currently serving as the Global Head of IT for UBS, they oversee performance and client reporting teams, ensuring service delivery and production support. Previously, Sameer held significant leadership roles at Alberta Investment Management Corporation and UBS, specializing in IT strategy and organization transformation. Their extensive background includes project management at Cognos and consultancy at Deloitte, along with a Master’s in Management Studies from Carleton University and a Bachelor’s in Mechanical Engineering from Maharashtra Institute of Technology.
