Sebastjan Smodis

Sebastjan Smodis, FRM, is the AM EMEA&UK Chief Risk Officer and Global Head of Traditional Investment Risk at UBS, where they oversee risk strategies and frameworks. They previously held key roles at several prestigious institutions, including the Bank of Slovenia as an Investment Risk Analyst and State Street Global Advisors as the Global Head of Liquidity Risk Management. Seb completed their Masters in Finance at London Business School, where they served as Vice President of the Investment Management Club. They also have a solid foundation in economics, graduating with honors from Univerza v Ljubljani.
