Selma Wersching

Selma Wersching is a seasoned professional with extensive experience in risk and regulatory programs within the financial services sector. Currently serving as Managing Director and Head of Global Wealth Management Risk- & Regulatory Programs at UBS since March 2007, Selma oversees initiatives related to investor protection and sustainability regulations, including the EU Action Plan and MiFID II. Prior roles at UBS included leadership positions in client and tax reporting and the international rollout of risk control frameworks. Previously, Selma held the title of Senior Manager at Accenture, where responsibilities included risk management and regulatory program management for banking and insurance sectors. Selma holds a Diplom in Wirtschaftsmathematik from Karlsruhe University of Applied Sciences.
