Shakia Meachem

Shakia Meachem is currently the US Head of Tax at UBS and an Executive Director, a position they have held since 2022. They have extensive experience in tax management, having served as a Tax Manager and Real Estate Tax Director at PwC, and as a Tax Manager at EY, focusing on both the media and entertainment and real estate industries. Shakia began their career as a Tax Intern at EisnerAmper LLP and has advanced through various tax roles over the years. Additionally, they are a Board Member at St. John's University's Peter J. Tobin College of Business, where they have been involved since 2024. Shakia holds both a Bachelor's and a Master's degree in Accounting and Taxation from St. John's University.
