Shubham Gupta

Shubham Gupta is an experienced professional in applied research and product management within the financial sector. Currently serving as an Applied Research Scientist at UBS since November 2022, Shubham contributes to early-stage R&D in innovative business models and emerging technologies for finance. Prior to this role, Shubham worked as a Product Manager for Electronic Credit Trading at BNP Paribas, focusing on product development for debt issuance and trading analytics. Shubham has also held positions at the Bank of England as a Research Consultant, Goldman Sachs as a Strategist in Electronic Equity Trading, and completed internships at Bloomberg LP and the Max Planck Institute for Software Systems. Shubham holds a Master of Philosophy in Technology Policy from the University of Cambridge and a Dual Degree in Computer Science and Engineering from the Indian Institute of Technology, Kharagpur.
