Simon Croxford

General Counsel, Investment Bank at UBS

Simon Croxford is the current General Counsel for the investment bank UBS. Prior to this, they worked as the Managing Director and Head of IBD Legal for Barclays Capital from February 2005 to August 2012. Before that, they were the Director of Transactions Legal for UBS Investment Bank from January 2000 to December 2004, where they worked on a variety DCM, ECM, and M&A Advisory transactions with a focus on France and Emerging Market jurisdictions. Simon started their career as a Solicitor for International Finance at Linklaters from January 1994 to December 2000, where they worked in both the London and Paris offices on a variety of international corporate finance transactions.

Simon Croxford has a degree in Anglo-French Law from King's College London, a Maitrise in Private Law from the University of Paris I: Panthéon-Sorbonne, and a Legal Practice Course from the College of Law in London.

Their manager is Ralph Hamers, Group CEO. Simon Croxford works with Sabine Keller-Busse - President, Personal & Corporate Banking and President UBS Switzerland, Group COO, Markus Ronner - Group Chief Compliance & Governance Officer, and Suni Harford - President Asset Management.
