Stefan Schaz

Stefan Schaz is a Payments Program Architect at UBS AG, specializing in payment architecture and implementation. Previously, they served as a Senior Payment Lead Architect for the Global Payments Program at Credit Suisse, where they defined and drove payment architecture initiatives. Stefan has extensive experience in software development and architecture, having worked on significant projects related to core banking and market data systems across various financial institutions. They began their career as a Research Assistant at ETH Zürich, where they developed algorithms for 3D measurement engineering, and earned a Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering from the same institution.
