Thomas Michel is a co-founder of Primates For Primates, a non-profit organization established in December 2020 that focuses on fundraising for sustainable primate conservation efforts, donating profits primarily to the Dian Fossey Gorilla Fund. Previously, Thomas co-founded Exqui KlG from September 2017 to December 2019. Thomas has held various roles in the financial sector, including Junior Operations Officer at Swiss Hedge Capital AG, Head of Instruction Engineering at Credit Suisse, and Product Manager - Portfolio Construction at UBS. Thomas also served as Director Finance for the AFC Zurich Renegades from November 2017 to November 2021. Thomas holds a Bachelor of Science (BSc) in Business Administration with a major in International Management from ZHAW School of Management and Law, earned from 2013 to 2016, and completed Berufsmatura at Kantonsschule Hottingen from 2008 to 2011.
