Urs W. Mueller is the Executive Director and Head of Model Risk Governance & Oversight U.S. at UBS, a position held since 2024. With extensive experience in leadership, corporate governance, risk management, and internal audit, Urs has held multiple senior roles at Credit Suisse from 1997 to 2002, including Global Chief Auditor and Global Head of Operational Risk Management for the Investment Bank. Urs has an impressive international background, having worked in various capacities across the U.S., Asia, and Europe, and possesses strong regulatory relationships in major banking centers. Urs earned a Master's degree from the University of St.Gallen and is also a certified accountant.
