Veronica Engman

Veronica Engman serves as the Director and Head of Compliance for the Nordics at UBS, a role assumed in August 2023, where responsibilities include establishing the Compliance function across various business divisions. Prior to UBS, Veronica held the position of Head of Compliance at Arctic Securities AS Sweden Branch from January 2022 to August 2023, focusing on regulatory support for Investment Banking and Corporate Finance. Additional experience includes serving as a Senior Compliance Officer at Danske Bank and leadership roles in Compliance and Risk at Hjerta Norden AB and Bank of China. With extensive experience in compliance, legal, and regulatory roles across multiple financial institutions, Veronica has developed expertise in areas such as Capital Markets, AML/CTF, and internal control frameworks. Veronica holds a Civ.ek. degree from Uppsala University and a Pol.mag. degree from Lund University.
