William Burns is currently the Managing Director of Media Investment Banking at UBS, a role they began in 2024. Previously, they served as Managing Director in TMT Investment Banking at Cowen Inc. from 2013 to 2024 and as an Associate at Fairmount Partners from 2010 to 2013. Prior to their investment banking career, Burns worked in Transaction Services at PwC from 2006 to 2010. They earned a Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration from Drexel University’s LeBow College of Business and a Master’s in Accountancy from Villanova University.
